Kira MacDuffee interview:  Beating the Winter blues

People often ask us to recommend books or resources for them and we have found in the past that different enneatypes tend to resonate with teachers and teachings of the same dominant energy.  It can be very useful when someone with your particular struggle has found a way through it and is sharing from that place. However, it is also important to realize that generally speaking a type four does not necessarily need to learn to get in more touch with their emotions, an eight doesn't need to learn how to be more assertive and set boundaries, and a type seven need to learn how to be more positive. Sometimes the medicine we need will be coming from an energy very different from our own and we will need to learn from and integrate that energy to grow.

So although we have organized many of these practices and teachers into their dominant energies please don't limit yourself to your own type. They are all useful for all of us. This page is still very much in construction so we will be adding to it as we go along.  We welcome your feedback and suggestions on this page if you would like to share what has been helpful for you on your journey.

Some of the teachers mentioned are self-identified (*) and others have been typed according to our sense of their dominant energy(s) and their work (indicated with a "(?)"). Those that we are quite uncertain of we have added more than one possible enneatype.
